2D signage is the workhorse of business signage in Nepal — versatile, affordable, fast. Here's what real projects cost, factory-direct from our Teku facility.
Sunboard (foam board, indoor): NPR 350 – 850 per square foot. Most common for trade shows, indoor menu boards, temporary event signage. Vinyl printed graphics on 3mm or 5mm sunboard. Comes ready-to-mount with hooks or VHB tape.
ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel, outdoor): NPR 950 – 2,800 per square foot. The default for outdoor shop boards and wall-mounted signage that needs to last 5–10 years. Weather-resistant, available in 50+ colors including brushed, mirror, and matte finishes.
Flex print on sunboard or ACP: NPR 600 – 1,800 per square foot for one-sided flex with UV-cured ink and lamination. Fast turnaround (24–48 hours for stock sizes), customisable to any artwork.

For a typical small business shop board (8×3 ft outdoor ACP with flex print), expect NPR 18,000 – 28,000 fully installed. Same-day quotes, 3–5 day lead time for standard sizes.
Installation considerations, weatherproofing, and care
2D boards look simple but the installation details determine whether your investment lasts 10 years or fails in 18 months.
Edge sealing matters most. Cheaper installers skip silicone sealing the edges of vinyl on ACP, which lets moisture creep under the graphic and lift it in monsoon. We seal every edge of every outdoor install — adds 10 minutes per board, prevents 95% of long-term failures.
Mounting hardware. For ACP boards outdoor, use stainless steel screws with anti-vibration washers, never plain zinc. The visual hit is minor, the 5-year cost difference is huge. For sunboard indoors, 3M VHB or concealed hook-and-loop both work — we choose based on wall surface.
UV lamination on flex. Without lamination, outdoor flex prints fade in 12–14 months in Nepal's UV index. With UV lamination (a few hundred extra rupees per board) they hold color for 3+ years. We make lamination standard on every outdoor flex print.
Maintenance: a wet microfibre wipe-down every 3–4 months keeps boards looking fresh. For taller installs, our team offers an annual cleaning + inspection package at NPR 2,000 per visit.
