Acrylic signage covers a huge range — office name plates that cost NPR 800 to backlit lobby walls that cost NPR 200,000+. Here's the realistic breakdown.
Office name plates (5mm acrylic, vinyl applied): NPR 800 – 2,500 each. Standard sizes (12×4 inch, 18×6 inch) ship same week from our Teku workshop. Custom shapes and gold mirror or rose gold finishes are 30–50% more.
3D laser-cut acrylic letters (10–25mm depth): NPR 3,500 – 8,500 per square foot. The most popular reception-wall finish. Frosted matte reads as premium against backlit walls; high-gloss clear reads as modern minimal.
Backlit acrylic boards (with LED): NPR 4,500 – 9,000 per square foot. Common for waiting-area logos, hospital wayfinding, and showroom hero walls. Includes Korean / Taiwanese LED modules and IP-rated power supply.
Gold mirror acrylic: NPR 6,500 – 11,000 per square foot. Striking but specific — works for jewellery brands, hotels, fine-dining restaurants. Cleans easily and doesn't tarnish like real metal.

Whatever the finish, expect a 1–2 week lead time for custom designs (most of that is the laser-cutting queue) and same-week turnaround for standard office name plates.
Mounting, alignment, and lifetime care
Acrylic installs cleanly with three common mounting methods, each suited to different surfaces and budgets.
Standoff mounts (most common): stainless steel barrels lift the sign 12–25mm off the wall, creating a premium shadow line. Cost effective on plasterboard, brick, or concrete. Standoff diameter matters — we use 25mm minimum for signs over 5kg.
3M VHB tape (lightweight): for small office name plates on glass or polished surfaces. Holds up to 8kg per sign indefinitely if installed correctly. Avoid for outdoor or anything over 12×6 inches.
Concealed flush mount: for premium installations where the sign appears to float on the wall. Requires careful drilling and back-fitting — we handle on-site.
Cleaning: microfibre cloth with mild dish soap diluted in water. Never use ammonia (Windex), acetone, or paper towels — these scratch or yellow acrylic over time. A 10-second wipe-down monthly keeps clear acrylic looking new for years.
UV protection: our outdoor-rated acrylic includes a UV-stabilising additive that prevents yellowing for 5+ years. Lower-grade acrylic (the kind some competitors quote) yellows visibly within 18 months in direct sunlight — ask for the material certificate before signing.
